Good news! Thanks to 2006 legislative action, Student Tuition Organizations, and tax credit donations by many, Sacred Heart School has more money available for tuition assistance through the Monsignor Lafferty Tuition Foundation (MLTF). By completing one confidential financial aid application to FAIR, Inc., you may qualify for a tuition grant from the MLTF. 

A family must complete the FAIR application for any tuition assistance grant. It is not a difficult form to complete. You will be compiling a lot of the same information for your income taxes - due the first part of April. Come into the Development or School Office for assistance with the forms. All you have to do is call 515-432-1971 (Development Office) or 515-432-4124 (School Office). 

FAIR application forms are handed out with school registration packets at conferences in February. Application forms also are available by calling the School Office at 515-432-4124, and families may apply online at http://www.fairapp.com. Application deadline is April 1st - no exceptions. In the event of an emergency situation, please contact the school immediately. 

MTLF awards are based solely on financial need determined by the FAIR application. Please list any special circumstances that may affect your eligibility for financial aid and send with the FAIR application. Complete and include all required income tax information and the processing fee. If you are not able to pay the fee, please contact the Sacred Heart School Office. Please do not send in more than one application per family.

All families who receive tuition grants will be notified of the amount of their grant by mid-May.
